Dark Eldar Wracks Finished

Aqui estão outras dez figuras do exército Dark Eldar que estou montando, uma unidade de wracks, com 2 liquifier guns. São aquelas miniaturas alternativas da china, com o cast terrível. Me irritei bastante com elas, ja que são uma figura legal e na epoca que comprei elas ainda não tinham as de plastico, contando apenas com as finecast que seriam tão ruins quanto.

Dark Eldar Archon & Court - FINISHED

So I finished my HQ section of the Eldar Army! Those models where very fun to paint, and i did like my paint scheme.

Now I am working on the raiders, I have 3 of them and i pretend to paint all of them together.

Archon Court WIP I

After a brief hiatus, im back to the paintbrushes! Now i am working on the archon court, and just finished painting the Lhamaen. The bases i will make after i finish all the models of this squad.

I painted this figure together with the other rangers, and painted its base yesterday.

I finished those models today, I hope to never get my hand on those finecasts figures. The exarch was full of bubbles. Another figure that i finished some time ago, a zoanthrope, started to bend, and i had to unbent using a hairdryer.

Oh those final details takes so long to paint...

Finished the metals tonight, and made some shade on the helmets. I think i will work on the shades of the armour a little more.

Worked on the black of the guns, masks and strips. I got tired when i started the copper of the guns, so I will paint it another time.

Quick and easy. Now i will focus on the details. Next week I finish them.

Eldar Harlequin Troupe Finished

Uhu!!!

I finnaly managed to finish those guys!

It took me almost a year to paint those figures, i paused the project many times to finish other miniatures.

Those are finecast, the quality arent good, and i am seriously thinking in not buy them anymore. Because of the bad quality, painting them was very boring and frustrating.

Yesterday i just finished the hardest part in the figure, the harlequin texture in the clothes. Now ill finish the last details and the base and its done!

I am finishing the details of those 3 harlies, im getting tired of painting them so i will rush up those. Sadly, theres another 3 to paint. Now i will put all my energies to finish the whole squad.

Luckily i already made the command squad, and those 3 guys are well painted.

This is the first 3 of the 6 that i need to do to finish the whole squad.

Made the harlie pattern, that is the hardest part first, now i need tho shade it a little and its done.

Tonight i finished the harlequin texture and started the yellows.

Im trying a new recipe for this color:

Base color
Tanned Flesh (Coat 'd Arms)
 Shade:
Gryphonne sepia (citatel)
Highlights:
Golden Yellow (citatel)
Elf Flesh + Golden Yellow

Last night I finished the Troupe Master. Used the airbrush to make the sword.

I tried to paint the other swords using the same technique of the power weapon, and i liked the results. But next time i will use more grey and skip the black.

So I almos finished the paint job in this figure, made all the details.

The sword I will batch paint with the other 5, i pretend to use the airbrush.

Those guys will give me a lot of work...

I made the bronze on the troupe master, used agrax earthshade and gripphon sephia for the shadows, and shinning gold for the main color.

So i retake the work at the harlie troupe last night. I used the airbrush to prime and to make the light in the black. I will try to paint them like the box art.

I think those figures will be painted one by one, and will be a slow job.

Harlequin Troupe WIP I

Soon after i finished the Death Jester, i opened the harlie troupe and assembled them. And in the same day i received the news that our project "A Tale of X Gamers" is back online. So those models are shelved and im working on the hive tyrant.

The WIP of the tyrant will be on Gereth's blog, but, after i finish it, i will be back working on the Harlies. So, expect a small hiatus here!

Those models simply rock!
