Some Reaper Figs Finished

Nesse domingo eu finalizei essas figuras da reaper, utilizei elas para testar o esquema de cores que vou utilizar nos meus dark eldar. Gostei bastante do resultado final da pele, e da cor alaranjada da armadura desse guerreiro. O roxo ainda não me convenceu, mas vou tentar fazer mais alguma coisa dessa cor.

Tentei pintar um efeito de luz direcionada, mas não gostei muito. O Escudo ficou bacana, mas os arranhões poderiam ter sido melhor trabalhados. O metal com o azul ficou estranho, mas pode ser utilizado em um ou outro modelo.

In this sunday I finished those reaper figures, I used it to test my new color scheme that I will use on my future dark eldar army. The skin color was nice, and the orange armor plate form the warrior was interesting. The purple didnt reached what i was thinking, but i will try to paint this color once more in another model.

I tried to paint an OSL effect but i didnt like the result. The warrior shield is ok, and the scratches could have been worked a little more. The blue metal is so-so, but it can be used in one or another model.

Critics and comments are most welcome!

Tierdeleira, Dark Elf Cleric WIP I

So as said before, i am painting some reaper bones to test a new color scheme to my dark eldar army. This figure is almost finished, needing just some work on the details and the base.

Now i am painting those Dark Elves from Reaper Miniatures, and i am testing a new pais scheme to use in a future army.

Im thinking on 3 possibilities, purple, orange or black. The figures arent finished.

Finalizei essa figura no fim de semana. Coloquei uma lixa d'agua para simular o asfalto.

Eventualmente eu saio do tema de figuras de jogos e pinto algo diferente somente por diversão. Dessa vez vai ser a Biker Sophie, miniatura promocional que veio junto com o Kickstarter Bones.

Iniciei a pintura da moto ontem a noite, e pretendo finalizar ao menos a moto hoje a noite.

Sometimes i change the gaming figures theme and paint something diferent just for fun. This time is Biker Sophie, a promo figure from Bone's Kickstarter.

I had started the bike painting last night, and I think I will finish it tonight.

Reaper Bones: Yephima Finished

I finished texturizing and painting the base of this figure.

I will give this figure to a  very special person, I hope she like it.

This is a plastic figure, and the quality of the Reaper Bones are fine!

I finished painting this figure, now working on the base.

As i will be off this week, i will only finish it when i come back.

I liked the quality of the reaper bones figure. I just need to figure out how to fix the bended parts.

Reaper Bones: Yephima WIP II

I forgot how hard was to paint a big figure. Even harder is to paint a female big figure.

In my opinion, the color graduation on female skin must be very soft and i am havig trouble to archieve this effect.

I will work a little more on the face after i finish the rest of the miniature.

Reaper Bones: Yephima WIP I

In this raining weekend (ok its friday, but it is a state holiday!!!) i started to paint this figure from reaper bones.

I choose this figure because i want to test some new paint schemes for skin, test the quality of the reaper bones figures and try to paint over a bright primer.

The paint scheme that i wanted to test is painting skin with airbrush. I didnt liked the results, and now the skin i will paint using brushes. Painting this large figures is quite hard!

I gave up skin and i will make the red clothes. So this is half the work.

My reaper bones arrived and ongoing project

The box arrived to me last week. Now I will keep it in the shelf of the miniatures that will never be painted.

Ok, the minis are amazing and some of them will se a brush.

Small brushes never tire! I'm finishing my tyranid figures for Estevão's blog The Painting Frog. That time, i made all the small models that i had here. After that, i hope to paint my two monsters. A Tervigon and a Carnifex.

E aqui a miniatura que eu estou pintando, da Reaper, agora não sei o nome certo dela.

WIP: Infinity Haqquislam I

Hoje iniciei a pintura dos infinity Haqquislam. Sério, essas miniaturas são o MAXIMO! Muito bem detalhadas e poses dinamicas, sem contar da boa forma das "soldadas". Essas miniaturas vão ser rapidas de pintar, todas elas possuem 2 cores básicas.


O que eu fiz até agora foi pintar Graveyard Earth em todas elas, e depois retocar o undercoat que em algumas áreas nao ficaram legal.

E hoje de tarde eu montei 3 minis da Reaper.

Reaper's Wraith

Terminei essa mini hoje, pra entregar para o Ivan proxima vez q eu for pra Santa Cruz. A base vai ser feita junto com o trebuchet.

Essas miniaturas nao entram na contagem, aquele score do lado sao só as de minha propriedade.

Quis fazer a espada emitindo uma "Energia Maligna", imagino que ele deve fazer necrotic damage. Nao ficou do jeito que eu queria, ta parecendo mais que ela ta envenenada...

Putz, mais um dia sem fazer a monografia...

O dia foi fraco hoje, tava perfeito pra eu iniciar minha monografia, mas obviamente, nao fiz é nada. Entre um paciente (o que resolveu vir) e o outro (que se atrasou), fui colocar meu material em ordem. Abri o meu army painter brush set e tive uma desagradável surpresa. A haste de metal tava quebrado. Nao ia mandar devolta pros United kingdoms, e colei com greenstuff.



Também aproveitei e pintei outra mini do Ivan no final do dia. Foi rapido de pintar, tem 3 cores basicas, e highlights apenas. Acho que em 1h tava pronta, com verniz e tudo. A base eu vou fazer junto com as do Infinity. Uma Driad da Reaper Miniatures.

Miniaturas da Reaper em andamento

Tava cansado de pintar meus grail knights e resolvi dar uma olhada nas outras minis que estao na linha de produção. Decidi em pintar uma das tres miniaturas que um amigo me pediu pra pintar, e voilá! Peguei essa esqueleta e comecei. Terminei ela em uma tarde, agora só falta a base e alguns highlights.

A miniatura tem uma ótima pose e foi legal de pintar algo diferente, no caso, essa tematica undead.

As bases eu vou fazer todas de uma vez só.





E agora, de volta aos grail, só de olhar o que falta, ja desanima... ainda bem que falta pouco.
