Terminei os 5 panzer IV da Plastic Soldier Company. Simples e rapido. Feito 95% no aerografo.

Agora é voltar a trabalhar no projeto do Gereth.

PSC Panzer IV WIP I

Olá!

Estou pintando uns Panzer IV antes de retomar o projeto aToXG, hoje terminei a pintura base deles.


Esse é o tipo de highlight que eu gosto, bem forte. De longe se consegue ver, e a pintura ficou com uma aparencia limpa.

A Camuflagem foi bastante simples de fazer e ja está pronta tb.

M10 Tank Destroyers Finished

Simples, rapido e facil (com o aerografo, é claro). Finalizei a tripulação, pintei a cor do uniforme com o aerografo e os outros detalhes no pincel. Usei Devlan mud wash pra dar uma sombra neles, e montei eles nas torres dos tanques. Gostei bastante do resultado final e pretendo fazer logo os tanques alemães.

M10 Tank Destroyers WIP

O que o Sr Ricieri comentou ("Ainda existe vida além do 40k!") na ultima postagem é muita verdade. Entao resolvi retomar um projeto que esta acumulando poeira a muito tempo, que é montar 2 exércitos para jogar flames of war. Já tenho todas as peças que eu preciso, agora é só dedicar o tempo mesmo.

Eu usei aerografo, o que agilizou demais a pintura deles. Como não pretendo comprar os decalques, entao pintei os simbolos nas laterais dos tanques mesmo.

Terminando esses dois tanques m10 eu ja tenho o exército britanico pronto, pretendo montar o que falta do exército alemao e jogar uma tinta neles.

E depois obviamente, fazer uma mesa.

British Armoured Platoon Finished

Ontem a noite eu terminei esses 6 tanques, que formam os 2 armoured platoons. futuramente eles irão ser complementados com 2 sherman firefly.

Esses modelos são da Plastic Soldier Company e pintados com tintas da coat d'arms.

Last night I finished these six tanks, forming 2 armored Platoons. eventually they will be complemented with 2 sherman firefly.

British Armoured Squadron WIP V

Trabalhei um pouco mais nos tanques, falta apenas os detalhes para termina-los.

I worked a little more in the tanks, with only the details to finish them.

British Armour Company HQ Finished

Ontem me dediquei um pouco mais aos meus modelos e terminei o company hq dos meus Britanicos. Esses modelos tem alguns erros de montagem, e o tanque que vai ter o company commander deveria ter 2 bonecos, e o 2iC deveria ter um, eu me dei conta disso depois do modelo pronto.

Yesterday i finished my company HQ of my british armored company. Those models have some minor assembly mistakes. I had to build the company commander with 2 commander models, but i figured out this after the model was ready.

Eu não sei se a camoflagem está fiel aos modelos historicos, eu fiz uma pesquisa rapida e achei esse padrao de camuflagem, e também descobri que cada compania fazia um tipo de camulfagem, entao era uma confusão.

I dont know if this camo pattern is true to the historical veicles, i made a quick research and i found this pattern, and also i found out that the camo pattern of the british was a bit confusing.

British Tank Company WIP IV

I'm working now on the shermans, who will form the bulk of the company. I'm painting the basic colors, but the work is proving to be boring. I have to paint 3 layers to get an even color. Because of this I convinced myself to buy an airbrush.

After I finish those tanks I will paint a rackham miniature, as reward!


The color that Im paintin is British Kahki from Coat d'arms, and the tanks are from the plastic soldier company.

Stuart 15mm Finished

Tonight i finished the Stuart squad, for Flames of War. Those models are from Forged in Battle.

I glued the machine guns in the wrong place, and i tried to unglue one ant it broke. I didnt glued the antennas behind the turret. The only piece that came was the support, so, as i dont have any material to make a good antenna, i left these parts behind.

But here they are, the firs models of the year.

Suart 15mm WIP I

COntinuing to painted my british armor company, I did today all the greens for the Stuarts, and paint the first color of the threads. I am using Coat d'arms colors, for the base color i used Olive drab, then i lightly drybrushed with army green, then did a final highlight with  olive drab and british khaki 50/50.

For the threads i used Citatel Dark flesh, wiht a drybrush of boltgun metal and a devlan mud wash. The dark flesh gave a nice contrast with the green of the chassis.

Now i figured out how i need an airbrush, i will see if i buy one next month. It will be a xingling for sure!

The base color was boring to paint, but after that, the painting was a breeze! Tomorrow i will try to finish the details.

Stuart 15mm Test Model

Today i tested the color shceme for my british armor company. I did a small research and i decided to paint that green color on my tanks. On the shermans i will try a camo pattern.

I liked to paint the tank commander. Im looking forward to paint the m10 and the crew.

Im using a coat d'arms paints. I bough from Maelstrom the british uniform kit. 

British Armor Company WIP III

Today I finished the assembly of the 4 M10 and 4 Stuarts, both models from Forged in Battle.

They have good detail, but are a little difficult to assemble. But the M10, and the crew, are amazing. The stuarts had some small parts that where difficult to remove from the sprues. The other thing i missed was some instructions to assemble those kits.

I had finished the shermans before i went in vacation, those models are from The Plastic Soldier Company. I am thinking to assemble another 5 turrets with short barrels, to swap between shermans and fireflys.

Tomorrow, if the weather helps, i will prime those miniatures.

ps: Awww crap, now looking the pictures at FiB, i saw that i glued the MG in the wrong place :(

British Armor Company WIP II

I was working on those tanks since december, but the terrain project for the tounament in january took all my hobby time.

They are from Plastic Soldier Company and Forged in Battle (the plastic ones and the resin/metal respectively). The plastic tanks are amazing, but require some attention to assemble, because the instructions arent clear.

The Forged in Battle tanks are very detailed, and the hulls have the details different from one tank to another, but metal is metal and they are a paint to assemble. the M10 guns i will pin, but the stuart ones i will simply glue.

I pretend to assembly another 5 turrets with small guns for the shermans, i think that the big ones are for the Firefly.

My brother is assembling a german panzerkompanie too, and i expect to have a flames of war game in March.

Agora fudeu... meus brets vao voltar pro freezer, junto com os eldar.

Além de eu ter achado muito massa as miniaturas, agora também tenho a compania do meu irmao que comprou um German Armor Company também.

Hoje preparamos as minis e montamos um tanque.

Vou ter que lavar melhor as minis de resina.
